Web Development
Tantrumedia Limited have been developing websites for over a decade. We pride ourselves in making sure we know exactly what our customers want, and aim to exceed their expectations as often as we can.
Although we create sites globally, we are also extremely proud to provide a local and more personal 'hands-on' service within the Wirral, Cheshire and Merseyside areas under our Webcraft banner.

This is the official website for the Dubreq Stylophone.
This website features a content management system or CMS which allows the content to be changed as easily as editing a Word-style document.
Technology installed into the site includes a public forum, a twitter search feed, an encyclopaedia, a photo gallery and news feeds.
The CMS we use makes adding all this extra functionality quite straightforward, so even if we start you off with a basic website there's no need to 'reinvent the wheel' if you'd like extra features.
The artwork is bespoke and designed by us to invoke a 70's retro feeling.
The site name header graphic was developed by deriving the necessary letters from the original Stylophone logo which uses a non standard unexpanded font.

"Just Bloody Brilliant!"

A regional accountancy website with a fresh outlook!
We were directed to develop a website that would cast aside all the preconceived notions of stuffy accountants wearing tweed jackets and talking tax-speak.
One of our first ideas was to introduce a memorable and slightly tongue-in-cheek character to the site, in the form of a cartoon owl, and this went down well with our client.
The site if packed full of useful information for people starting out in business and for the more seasoned customer who is trying to keep up with up to date financial information.
Features include; a bespoke contact form that ask all the right questions before forwarding on the clients requests, a colourful animated menu system, RSS Feeds from relevant news agencies that bring fresh news & articles to the site and an FAQ section.
The main owl logo was designed from scratch, and was one of a number of options we developed for our client to choose from. You can see the others we considered below...
Customer comment:
"Only one word to describe you lot - GENIUS!!!"

Bwrw Eira is the Audio Division of Tantrumedia Limited.
After many successful years of trading our services under the Tantrumedia brand, in 2010 we decided to create a new identity for our musical and audio production endeavours.
The Bwrw Eira website acts as a showcase for all our audio based endeavours including post production on Film, Video and T.V. This means that we had to create a media rich website that would be easy to navigate and really show off all the content at it's best.
The bulk of this site is developed in FLASH. This lets us create very dynamic elements like the audio playback library and the video showcases. Even the news item area is created in Flash to keep continuity across the site.
All the logo design and artwork was done in-house too.
The brand name is Welsh for "Snowing". We have strong connections with Wales and our M.D. is also known as CoLD SToRAGE, so although it might appear to be an 'odd' brand name choice, we feel it shows a strong and unique identity.
It probably goes without saying, but if you're in the market for audio creation or editing in any field, way, shape or form then do get in touch either via the Bwrw Eira site or via our contacts page.

Complete First Aid are based near Wrexham and provide First Aid training.
This website was produced to a tight budget. The client needed a web presence, but nothing overly developed.
The main requirements were a good brand image, so we developed the logo to their approval. Once this was done, the rest of the site was designed to fit into the look of the logo.
The site features several key pages, a contact form and access to some interal features via the front page login system.

Luminex are a Wirral based lighting retailer.
This was their first website and as such they wanted something stylish, eye-catching and full of visual content.
The site is based around our CMS allowing us to provide some visual plug-ins that showcase the brands and styles available at the retail store.
The front page features an automated lightbox system, and the slide-out menu on the far right of the page gives access to more product images.
As part of this development we were tasked with taking photographs of various items inside the store and then using various Photoshop editing techniques bring out the colour, vibrancy and illumination of each design.
An added complication was the requirement to scan images from a catalogue and match these with the images we had captured in our photographic session. The client was extremely pleased with the end results.
Customer comment:
"I'm amazed how well the photos turned out - great job lads."

Roy Barker is a fully qualified multi-therapist in Liverpool.
Roy's specification to us was just some key requirements. We took these along with a logo that he'd had designed earlier and created a fully immersive website in FLASH.
Ordinarily we tend to guide clients away from background music, however on this occasion we felt that it would put visitors in the right mood and have the effect of keeping them on the sitee longer. The music was developed by our sister brand Bwrw Eira.
This site has a number of great features including animated screen slides, animated menu system and a photo gallery system. In effect this is almost a full Flash CMS aside from the need to manually edit XML to change the content. As Roy's site will need little editing over time, this was a perfect solution for him.
All the photographs on this site were taken by us and edited to fit. Given the nature of the photography, we made a point of setting both Roy and his model at ease during the session, and Roy retained full control over the images at the end of the session.
Customer comment:
"Wow, just WOW!!! Never thought my site would look this smashing, and the music is wonderful. Many, many thanks!"

Motorlink are a thriving second hand car retailer based on the Wirral.
Although fairly straightforward and functional in appearance, this site not only provides on online presence and contact point but more importantly features a car cataloguing system which allows the client to showcase their stock and provide visiting customers with the facility to contact them regarding specific cars.
The client didn't want any fussy logos or distractions on their site, therefore the design is simple and practical.
Customer comment:
"My new site has definitely increased sales. People know where to look now, so more of them come in to buy the car after they've seen it on the website rather than just looking around. At the end of the day, a quick sale is a great sale for me."

Chain Runner is a product line developed by one of our existing clients.
We were approached by an existing client to develop an additional product based website to showcase one of their technological developments.
We designed a prominent graphical element to draw the visitors attention immediately to the product itself.
The site contains some key information, a dealer page and a SKYPE contact module that shows if our client is online for a chat regarding the product. There is also a traditional contact form.
Customer comment:
"Exactly what we wanted. We really like what you've done with the product images at the top of the page."

Travelsport are a Travel Agency based in North Wales.
Travelsport have been a client for a number of years, and they requested a site 'make-over'.
We took their existing content, and applied a whole new template. Content was given a visual makeover and new links added where relevant.
One thing they wanted was more customer involvement, so we added a Guest Book, created a Facebook Page and a Twitter account. We also added relevant RSS Feeds from the RAC and the BBC to give customers travel information when they visit the site, which adds value and currency to the page.
Customer comment:
"I will leave in your capable hands, all sounds good to me. Look forward to the new website."
